This Upgrade to the TRI-CUTTER will extend the product life and offers significant performance improvements:

SPEEDUP TO APPROXIMATELY 1400 Order/Hour

This allows an upgraded TRI-CUTTER to keep pace with a 20k Cutter modified with the EXPRESS CUT Upgrade. (Based on 27 frames / order.)

FINE ADJUST FOR 135 FORMAT CUT POSITION

Allows operator to select the best possible cut-position and helps compensate for variables from notching. Adjustment of up to 3/32 of an inch in steps of 1/64th are possible. Helps eliminate cut negatives.

TEST MODE FOR ALL FORMATS

Permits inspecting where a cut is made. The cutter stops to allow inspection and adjustments prior to manual cut. Helps, along with the fine adjust, to eliminate cut negatives.

MOTOR DRIVEN REELING MECHANISM

A separate film drive for the reel dramatically improves the accuracy of the Tri-Cutter, by eliminating film slippage caused by the current system, where the film drive motor also has to pull the reel. This part of the upgrade also allows reliable running of large reels on a TriCutter, should a lab elect to do this.

The Tri-Cutter Upgrade will help you to cut film consistently more accurate than previously possible with this equipment. Additionally, the operator can now compensate for variables such as notching and individual mechanical cutter adjustments.

The Upgrade Kit is user installable (2 to 3 hours by qualified maintenance personnel) and comes with a complete 30 page instruction package.
