DESCRIPTION OF MODIFICATION

While the Punch Locking Mechanism offers mechanical security of holding the Punch Marker in place, once properly positioned, it does not insure that the operator actually has placed the Markers in the proper position. To allow monitoring of correct Punch Marker installation (by oparator), FINISys INC. offers a Modification kit that includes two switches that will assure that the punches are properly installed. If one or both punches are out of position, an error message will be generated by the computer, and printing is prevented.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

This modification Kit is intended for use in conjunction with the FINISys INC. Punch Locking Mechanism (p/n 12-12101-00). It includes two switches, wiring harness, mechanical installation parts and complete instructions. Each kit will retrofit one paper mask. Installation can be performed easily by qualified maintenance personnel and requires approximately 30 minutes.
