MODIFICATION DESCRIPTION

Existing punch markers utilize a knuckle joint which is prone to excessive wear and requires frequent maintenance, using expensive parts. The Punch Marker Mechanical Reliability Kit designed by FINISys INC. eliminates the knuckle joint, and through a circuit change improves the reliabilty and life expectancy of the hall effect sensors.

PROBLEMS INHERENT WITH THE EXISTING PUNCH MARKERS

Partial hole punches create extreme paper cutting problems, resulting in reduced production at packaging, machine down-time and high costs of parts and labor to repair faulty punch markers. Paper waste is a frequent occurrence due to the lag in detection of a punch marker problem.
