MODIFICATION DESCRIPTION

Tired of paper jams occuring during paper threading and paper cutting operations? Many of these instances are due to bent or worn threading flaps in the paper mask. Such incidents not only cause paper waste and downtime but may also incur additional cost in drive rollers and maintenance. FINISys Inc. offers a series of Heavy Duty Threading Flaps that will replace all the popular sizes (for 110 and 135 format) for the Gretag parts with the following improvements:

• Flap made from re-inforced epoxy fibre-glass material that will not bend or break and should not wear out.
• Flap mounted with compliant bearings that insure that it will lay flat all the way across, improving successful threading operations.
• Initially slightly more expensive than the Gretag part, savings are quickly realized in durability, reduced paper waste and improved productivity.
