FONT ADJUSTMENTS
WE REALLY DON'T HAVE A LOT OF CONTROL OF HOW OUR PAGE IS DISPLAYED ON YOUR SCREEN, AS SEVERAL FACTORS ARE INVOLVED:
The font sizes chosen for this web-site have been driven by the printer layout (over which we have more control), as we assume that you will print out many pages for reference. If the font chosen for the screen were larger, many printouts would spill to 2 pages, where the single page would be quite readable.
INTERNET EXPLORER
Internet Explorer 2.x and 3.x allow font adjustments on the fly via the A up and A dn buttons on the tool bar. This will maintain fonts and relationship throughout our document.
Adjust until you are comfortable reading this line...
NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR
Netscape Navigator doe not allow selection on the fly, and
must be configured via the MENU: OPTIONS - GENERAL PREFERENCES -
FONTS, where you want to select a proportional font size of about
11. (Arial was used for all bulletins).
or adjust until confortable
reading this line.....
Unfortunately NN will now apply this font (not the size) to all text in the documents (where IE will switch fonts). The relationship between sizes will be maintained, and larger fonts will be enlarged further.
You may have to reset NN when viewing other sites.
